On my mind

So it's 12:06 am Thursday morning and I can't fall asleep to be honest I haven't tried ha-ha ah well. Tonight Mario wanted to stay up late with daddy Momma took him to bed to put him to sleep but the Sandman chased her down and Mario came creeping down the stairs with a big smile on his face saying "..Dada mama is sleeping.." It was a pleasant surprise because I really missed him while I was at work so we cuddled up and watched Hero's on DVD we played trains while it was on, our life is blessed we all have each other and I am thankful.

So many things are on my mind... first off we are looking for a new vehicle and it's tough to find something not to big, fuel efficient, safe and a vehicle that safely holds 3 car seats, top of the list is the Cadillac SRx but I really want to take a test drive before I get to excited... we are also looking to purchase a new home hopefully closer to family we both agreed we will need a lil help okay ALOT of help when the TWINS get here so we are looking for a place close to hers and my family, probably Taylor Ranch area. (I'm jamming my itunes music while I type, geez I seriously haven't listened to my massive music collection in a year... wow. Brooks & Dunn "Believe" into Black Eyed Peas "Pump it" ha ha LOVE IT!)

I also have bitter sweet news, my best bud whom I've grown up both near and far through lots of tough times and great times has moved back to Albuquerque after getting laid off from his job, I am really hoping this next chapter in his life blesses him with nothing but what he deserves. I'm sure he'll be up and running at full speed in no time. But on the lighter side I do get to spend some quality time with him and he can meet Mario again, last time he saw him was days after he was born, so it'll be nice.

Well, I think that as all for now.

Have a super week and God bless

UNDERSTANDING WOMEN
(A MAN'S PERSPECTIVE)
I know I'm not going to understand women.
I'll never understand how you can take boiling hot wax,
pour it onto your upper thigh, rip the hair out by the root,
and still be afraid of a spider.

Dear dad, I have great news....

Dear Dad,

So, it's been awhile since I've typed up any type of meaningful blog but when I did you were always the first one to comment, I remember you always commenting on the crazy stuff me, Chico and Kique would do on the weekend, wow what good times you've always been a huge part of my life. Well Dad, times have definitely changed Mario is 2 and half years old and such a great kid, it's amazing how sweet and kind he is, I still remember walking out of that operating room and you and mom where standing at the door excited to see Mario for the first time, it was a moment I could never forget...

Well, it's been exactly two years since you've been gone from here to a better place and I have great news to share with you, me an Zariah are expecting identical twin girls! Yep, can you believe that? I am still in a state of shock and really excited, what an amazing feeling to be blessed with 2 new babies, I know it's going to have some bumps but I am more ready than ever before! I know Mario is going to be a great help, he is already really excited and such a great kid.

I have to tell you how Zariah broke the news to me. Well, it was pretty great I must admit she had a ultrasound on Tuesday and asked Mom to go with her, mom was really excited as you can imagine. I wasn't able to make it because the ultrasound was at 4pm and I was on the radio till 8pm. So, I was so excited to know what we were having and wanted to make sure momma and the baby were healthy after an hour went by I called Z no answer, I called mom no answer, I was actually starting to get a lil worried, did something go wrong? Well, a hour goes by and Zariah FINALLY calls me and says she knows the sex of the baby but I have to wait till I get home, NOOOOO!!! I was so upset I wanted to know NOW, LOL. On the ride home I was trying to guess, make her spit it out, I said "it must be a boy because they wouldnt know if it was a girl its still too frikkin early blah blah blah.." She just smiled and said "I wish I would have taken my exam earlier 'cause now there is no way I can focus" She was referring to her exam at UNM. Well, as I sat down and ate some cold pizza Z told me to close my eyes, and so I did. I wanted to peek so bad to see what she was doing, she said open them and before my eyes were 2 presents I opened one up and it was a girls outfit, so I said "wow, a girl huh? I am totally stoked...." then I open the other present and to my surprise it was the exact same outfit...."Are you kidding me, OH MY GOD" twins? Yep, the doctor said we are having identical twin girls (which runs in Zariahs family) due at the end of December around Mario's B-day! Wow, just wow...so we are ready to take another step in our journey of parenthood I wanted to share the news with the first person I thought of when I found out, my dad....I love and miss you.
